Frequently Asked Questions

What do I do if I want to make a booking?

Contact us and we will either send the booking forms electronically or post them. If sent by email they will be in 'Word 97' format so you need to have at least this version to be able to read the forms. If not we can send them as a text file, fax or post them.

What do I do when I receive the booking forms?

Please read them carefully to confirm your dates and sign both the forms ('Booking Conditions & Responsibilities' and Tear off Slip) and return with your deposit together with the 'Occupants of Villa' form. Once we send the forms you will have 10 days to return them with your deposit otherwise we will offer your dates to other guests and you may loose your requested dates.

Do you accept credit cards?

Not at the moment as there would be an additional charge that we would have to pass on to guests to process the transaction. A personal check will be fine either in UK pounds or US dollars.

How much deposit do I need to Pay?

£100 or $150 per week booked.

What happens once I pay my deposit?

Once your check has cleared we send you a confirmation receipt with final payments details. This then confirms your dates and your final balance will be due at least 8 weeks prior to your arrival.

What information do I get when I send my final balance payment and how do I know where the villa is located?

Once your payment is cleared we will send you a written confirmation receipt along with directions to the villa with a map, details on how to access the villa through the lock box system where you will collect the key, as well as further information regarding the villa you may find useful. We'll also give you the contact details of our management company in case you need to call them at any time prior to arrival.

What happens if we have to cancel a booking?

Refer to our 'Booking Terms' for the cancellation policy but we will endeavour to transfer your booking over to another date at some time in the future if you have to cancel. We strongly advise you to take out travel insurance once you have made a booking to cover youreslves. If we have to cancel your booking for any reason we will either offer you alternate dates or refund your payment in full.

What happens with my security deposit once we leave the villa?

We wait to hear from our management company that the villa is left in good shape and that no breakages have ocurred and the BBQ has been cleaned after use. Once we hear from them we will return your security deposit. This normally takes about 1 week after you have left the villa.

Are phone calls free?

All local calls are free but calls to areas code 407 are classified as 'extended 'calling range. We will absorb this cost as long as it is not over $5 per stay otherwise we will deduct this from the guests security deposit.

Do you have an ironing board, washing machine and dryer?

Yes, the villa is fully equipped for all your needs with plenty of towels and linen and a washer and dryer. No need to bring anything apart from your own clothes!

Does the pool area get the sun all day?

Yes, although if you require there is a shaded area as well. We also have a patio area outside the pool screen for you to sunbathe or BBQ and there is a large grass area for your children to play safely. The villa back garden is totally enclosed so you have utmost privacy and are not overlooked by anyone - unlike a lot of other villas! We also have pool toys for children to play with.

Is the Jacuzzi Hot Tub heat extra?

No, the hot tub is heated independantly of the pool so there is no extra charge to heat it. This is included in your price.

When do you think we need pool heat?

Although we have a solar heated pool which for most of the year is fine, we would advise guests to opt for electric pool heat from Sept - May but it really depends on personal circumstances and how warm you like the pool to be.

How much is electric pool heat and what temperature will this heat the pool to?

Solar pool heat is included in your price but electric heat is an additional charge of £90 or $140 per week which is lower than most other villas. We need this to cover the extra electric charge. The pool will be heated to approx 85 degrees which is the recommended heat for an outdoor pool for leisure swimming. Any hotter and it will burn off the chemicals used to keep the pool clean.

What do I need to do if I wish to organise tickets for the parks or theme dinners shows?

Just let us know which tickets you require and we'll contact our ticket agent in Orlando who will note your requirements. Prices can be seen through a link on our website. We'll then pass on the telephone number and you can call them when you arrive at the villa to arrange a suitable time for them to be delivered. The tickets will be delivered to you direct to the villa where you can pay for them on delivery. Payment can be by credit card, travellers cheques or cash and they are much cheaper than you will pay for them at the attraction gate!

Do you have anything in the villa to cater for children?

We have a selection of games and vidoes to keep children amused. We have both a lounge and den which allows children to watch TV in one room while the adults relax watching the TV in another room if you require.
